Tasting Notes

Our 2013 Reserve Red Blend is a blend of Merlot, Barbera, and Cabernet Franc. It displays aromas suggesting red raspberry, cigar box, black tea, cherry cola, and leather. The palate has ample acidity followed by soft tannins with flavors suggesting strawberry, walnut shells, and cocoa.

Pairs Well With

Crow Farm tri-tip steak or roast, carne asada, Chapel’s Country Creamery Amber 16 Cheddar or Eve’s Cheese Smoked Cheddar along with assorted spicy charcuterie, homemade pasta with lamb ragu, spicy chicken sausage with lentils, also plays well with assorted game dishes. Have fun pairing this wine, blends are always interesting to pair!
